The Winter Formal: A winter tradition that was incorporated into the compact. Individuals that are masked at the party cannot be recognized for who they are, enforced by the magic of the compact. This occurred March 29.
The night was a strange one. It started with what appeared to be an at times owl masked Winter King performing a second accounting, which was likely a sign of his ancient dementia.
Concerns soon arose about the Green Prince. Some theorized that he was present at many times, some theorized that others were instead harassing others by pretending to be this gentry. It seems that he did make at least one appearance, though it may have been someone really bitter.
Additional concerns were raised by the spring and summer court about the nature of this monthly feast. Therefore, many appeared to shed their masks for much of the evening, though that may have merely been the trickery of the night.
In the middle of the Evening’s affairs, Athalvolf called Leomhainn out. During the duel, which saw Athavolf dominating, Leomhainn answered a call about a foul vampire he was hunting. Both took off after this quarry. Athalvolf was sent screaming into the hedge by this beast. However, Leomhainn and Sir Donovan Hale managed to kill the monster. During the absence, a mock battle with flowers, copying the duel was performed to the amusement of those present.
The evening began to wind down during this period. Numerous visitors arrived during the late part of the evening, including individuals purporting to being a European Scarecrow, Twitch and Bobby 11-Times (while Bobby 12-Times was still in attendance… fortunately, Bobby seems to like himself).
