The Scarecrow King

Old, scary, mysterious. One of the local scarecrow ministry sits on the Autumn throne, hiding behind his mask. Whether it is only one or many that take this honour is not clear. The scarecrows of the city wrote the compact, and made demands of the other courts, which the others acquiesced to.

Wilfred Clarion (Scarecrow King’s Pet)

The majority of the Autumn court of the city hide behind their scarecrow masks. This one, who is definitively over 100 years old, does not. He follows what the scarecrows say.

He has odd traits, never speaking. Reality somewhat rejects him, and he slips in and out of phase.

Dead, Missing, Other

Autumn Court

Alexander Bloodtooth

Died 1956. A brief member of the Autumn court. He terrorized neighbourhoods by abducting young blonde girls, whose bodies were found partially eaten by what appeared to be a large dog. He died of a heart attack in his bed, which was soaked in sweat, with a look of utmost horror plastered across his face, his body covered in wheat chaff.

Autumn Court

Johny

Disappeared 1999. A foreign scarecrow minister, who modeled himself after horror movie feinds of the last 30 years (ie Jason, Michael, Leslie, Freddy, Chucky, etc). His stated reason for coming was to investigate the rumoured brutality of the local Ministry. He made one appearance at court to ask about the Scarecrow King, his work and potential weaknesses. He was never again seen in Bridgeberry.

Autumn Court

Annabelle Clarion

Missing 1941. At the time of the compact, the Scarecrow King had 2 bright ones that followed him closely. She broke away from the Scarecrow in July 1941, running to mortal authorities. She eluded the Scarecrow king for 13 days, after which she was never seen again. During the 13 days, she was said to have made an impressive token in the form of a chronicle of the Scarecrow king. It also disappeared at that point, though descriptions of parts of it were found recently in diaries of her doctors, which were sold at auctions.
