~* June 15th-17th Convention*~

      Welcome to the SLARPcon webpage, home of the first annual Saskatoon LARP Convention, or SLARPcon for short, which is running this year over the weekend of June 15th-17th at the University of Saskatchewan. Our primary driving goal is to provide LARPers with a wide variety of interesting LARP activities and to provide our volunteer event organizers with excellent venues in which to hold their LARPs. This year, we've got 5 separate time slots (Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday evening), with games ranging from Vampire: The Requiem, Legend of the Five Rings, Kingdom Come, Shadowrun and Serenity. A variety of venues are available on the University of Saskatchewan campus, giving each LARP a distinctive and appropriate feel.

       If you are interested in attending, please have a look at our online registration page (active but still being updated), which lists all of the LARP events and their relevant time-slots. You must indicate which LARPs you wish to attend, as some of the LARPs have a maximum number of allowable participants. In addition, it is recommended that interested players contact the individual LARP organizers (email addresses are listed under the specified events) with any specific requests about character types they may wish to play. Pre-registration costs nothing and ensures you a character in each of the LARPs you wish to attend, so register early and give yourself the maximum amount of time to plan your costumes!
