To be determined: there will be an event, but whether it is something casual and social or another game is up to the members. See the forums for details.
Submissions for SLARPcon ‘09 are starting to come in. The executive has set a deadline for submissions as March 31. Decision as to what games will be run will be decided shortly thereafter.
Go to the forums to comment on the games as they come in.
The SLARPA Winter Event was a great success. Thanks go out to everyone involved! Check out the link to find out what you missed out on
Feel free to add your own thoughts, in particular comment on what you liked and didn’t like. We definitely want another Winter Event in 2010!
It’s time to get your game ideas in for SLARPcon ‘09! We’re aiming for three games (Friday night, Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening). Weather permitting, Sunday noon will likely be a BBQ in the University park area. Remember, the sooner you get your ideas in, the more likely you are to get the timeslot you want! Last year’s games had some big turnouts, so keep that in mind! Ask your friends or on the forums to help you out.
Get your ideas in on the forums, or contact one of the executive directly for more information.
The Winter Event will be February 7 in the MUMPS lounge in the Medical Sciences building.
We have the venue from Noon.
The LARP, “Lostday in Limehouse”, which is set in the Unhallowed Metropolis setting starts at 7:00 sharp; be there earlier to get your character information before the rules explanation.
The SLARPA Winter Event will feature an Unhallowed Metropolis LARP (http://www.newdarkage.net/), an exciting setting where the Zombie Apocalypse happened in 1905. It is a game of Neo-Victorian horror. For more details, see the forums.
Submissions for what the LARP will be for the Winter Event (which will be Feb 7) are due by Noon on November 19. See the forums for more information.
SLARPA is hosting a day to hear about the various games that are starting.
Nov. 9, 2pm at Dragon’s Den.
SLARPA is also interested in hearing ideas for games to be run at either our Winter Event (Feb 7) or SLARPcon (June 12-14). If you have any ideas, please get in contact with the executive.
