LINEUP FOR SLARPCON 2014!

Sorry for being slow on updates! We had a bit of a situation with booking venues, but it has since been resolved due to the help of some community members!

The events for SLARPCON 2014 are as follows:

STRANGERS IN STARLIGHT: THE DEATH VALLEY RITUAL (facebook event)
FRIDAY JUNE 13th (EVENING)

What started out as a sunny June afternoon at the 1952 Death Valley County Fair in Plano, California has taken a turn for the macabre and mysterious. An unplanned solar eclipse causes mass panic and delirium. Ordinary people become crazed, violent, and delusional. Cars won’t start and phone and telegraph lines are down. The only thing to do is take cover from the dangerous hordes inside the Exhibition Center and come up with a plan to get back to Plano intact. There’s safety in numbers, so the key is to reconnect with the other rational, upstanding fairgoers scattered among the different exhibits and determine what is going on and how to escape the fairgrounds before things go from bad to worse.

SATURDAY JUNE 14th (AFTERNOON)

They say the blood didn’t stop dripping from the chandelier for two hours on this day, five years ago. Boss Tony’s murder set all five families against one another for two full years. Even the wives squared off against one another. Maria Gambino lost most of her face at her husband Valentino’s nightclub to a broken bottle wielded by one of Boss Tony’s girls, Valentino Gambino had had enough. He left his wife’s cooling body in the hospital and called the five families together in a move that would broker a delicate peace.

SATURDAY JUNE 15th (EVENING)

A Clockwork H[e]avan is a neo-Victorian Steampunk Live Action Roleplaying event, where passion and ideology war with pragmatism and realpolitik in a world where Strathcona is a new world metropolis filled with conflict, intrigue, and weird science. This game is a loose sequel to the A Future, Forgotten games, but no knowledge of those events is needed to play.

GAME FEES WILL BE $15 FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND OR $5 PER GAME
